Arabs Vs. Jews
Ok, so admit it, us Arab kids grew up thinking that Jews are the bad people mainly because thats what our parents tell us or what we hear from the people around us. But is it really true? Are Jews really the bad people? Well, the reason why most Arabs think that Jews are bad is because Israel and what it is doing to Palestine but I think we should keep on mind that the war in Palestine is the Israeli government's decision not the citizens and even though some citizens may be with the occupation other might be against it. Second we should also remember that not all Jews are Israelis and some Jews are against what is happening in Palestine, don't believe me? take a look at this video.
So i don't think we have the right to discriminate all Jews just because we're outraged about the war in Palestine.

Something fishy is going on..
Yesterday, I did hide my sister's stuff and I loved the look on her face- the 'where-on-Earth-did-I-place-my-stuff' look until this morning when she approached me and super-politely asked me if I needed anything but it was in that kind of super-polite way that super-villains talk to superheroes they've chained to a table while they're preparing to blow up the entire world. I believe she's exploiting my big heart to get a juice box or two from my share. It's kind of mind blowing watching her victimize one. She holds the straw in her teeth, and in a single plunge, she can pierce the box draining the box like a malformed and mutant radioactive mosquito-woman. After that, she yanks the straw out and uses it to 'vampire' the entire cream from a Twinkie. Pretty impressive, right? You only gain all these superhero powers in my family. I was born a normal kid but living with her made me immune to all kinds of grossness and nastiness. My brother also has some sort of invisible power whenever it's lunch-he just disappears until Farah's done so that she won't invade his plate. Then, in the afternoon she blurted out my passwords even though I still didn't pay. I DIDN'T PAY! I looked out the window to see if it was the end of the world, like if it was raining cats & dogs or lizards or a sturdy earthquake was tearing Earth apart swallowing all of humanity. Then I wondered for a while, if that happened, would the news anchors report it? It would be more of : Sunday: 90% chance of cats & dogs with a slight chance of lizards so put on your boots and buy an umbrella which is on sale at Hyper Panda. Don't forget to hang onto something since there's-for sure-a powerful earthquake swallowing us. Monday: Mostly sunny and super quiet (I wonder why?). Back to reality, there's something fishy going on-probably a scheme to take over my juice boxes-I'm not giving up on them , NEVER. It's orange-flavored, orange, best flavor EVER after strawberry, hummm strawberries. I guess I'll have to sleep with an open-eye tonight...

Sleep talking AND sleepwalking?!
2 days ago I woke up on the floor-the floor. Apparently I am what the title says. 15 years living on this planet and I find out now-NOW! Why didn't my sister tell me since we already share a room? I can't blame her though, she DID try but I thought she bluffed it-she once outsmarted me and I ended up with knotted hair- never trusted her again. Yesterday I left the camera recorder on and headed to bed just to kill my suspicions. I watched the video hours ago to discover -to my surprise- that I DO sleep talk and walk. At 3:00 A.M , I said : Mrs. Hada (who, if you still don't know, is my English teacher) what are you doing in my dream , this is MY dream , MY dream so GET OUT NOW with such enthusiasm and slept again (although I respect her). At 4, I kept saying : I'm a star lightning the sky, look at me, I'm a star. Come Mrs. Hada and shine with me and slept on the floor. At 6 it was: Oh, you want my facebook AND e-mail password? Sure, here you go Mrs. Hada but SHHH. My sister woke up and wrote them down! Can you believe that ? How low is that-it's not my fault I sleep talk , should she concentrate ? She logged in before I did and changed them, I can't access them anymore! My passwords are 'abducted' and to make it even worse, she's demanding a 'ransom' from my money-the money I saved for the phone. She's asking for 50 S.R. (50 S.R. mightn't be a lot but keep in mind I'm saving and not working so it would take till next month to compensate). I wouldn't be surprised to hear of a missing phone and camera Farah. That's not a bad idea after all. I'll just hide her stuff and demand my new passwords or else she won't get them back again! "That girl" (I won't use the term 'sister', she's just too inhuman) got on my last nerve! I'll sit back and watch her look everywhere with an evil grin on my face. She must be really proud of me with all this evil and wickedness. I feel wacky now...

April 30, 2012
April 30, 2012-that's my deadline to accomplish my goals (which I'll post in a second) before summer. One month and six days. That's how long I've got to achieve my list. 20 AIMS ! Here's the list...
1. Lose 10 kilos.
It's not that I need it but it won't hurt to shed some kilos and go down few dress sizes.
2. Exercise more.
That might be a challenge since I"m more of a potato couch!
3. Get better grades.
My grades are pretty good but there's always a silly mistake that blows the full mark. NEED TO OVERCOME SILLY MISTAKES!
4.Overcome my phobia.
I'm actually pteromerhanophobic which briefly means I don't believe I'll live when entering a plane.
5. Finish a book.
I rarely finish a book-I just lose interest.
6. Bake.
Might sound simple to many but to many it's like solving a complicated problem in Trigonometry.
7. Get a new cell phone and not lose it.
I'm cursed! I don't get to keep ANY cell phone for more than three months! Mouth-dropping right? It's time to grow up, save money and buy another one. (And no. my parents won't get me a new one since I'm 'too irresponsible')
8. Play Tennis.
I've always wanted to play Tennis, All I need is some time, partner and SKILLS.
9. Read the Holy Qura'an cover to cover.
I already read it three times but a fourth won't hurt.
10. Learn to sew and knit.
It seems fun-simple as that.
11. Become more independent.
Buying a new phone on my own would shorten the distance to independence.
12. Overcome my shyness.
Shyness has been a MAJOR hurdle since God knows when! I tried everything but I couldn't overcome it...Not anymore.
13. Get a pet!
I LOVE ANIMALS...The only problem is..I forget feeding them, most important thing ever.
14. Help my mom.
Poor mom...She does everything around here. I never help her since as I said I'm a freaking LAZY POTATO COACH.
15. Become a better person.
Difficult to achieve but worth the sweat.
16. Participate more in the newsletter.
I write good articles but I never got the courage to share them.
17. Care less about people's opinions.
This would be definitely challenging because I care for the tiniest tiniest tiniest remark anybody gives.
18. Give my mom a special day.
She's always helped in EVERYTHING so she deserves her own 'me time'. I think a massage would help...Any other suggestions ?!
19. Grow my hair long.
I really would like to have longer hair but I tend to cut whenever it grows for God knows why.
20. Ride a camel.
Might sound weird and lunatic but I'd enjoy that. And since we're in Saudi Arabia , that would be easy to achieve.
36 days. 864 hours. 20 goals. The journey might be rough at times but completing it would be the apple of my eye despite the sweat and tears. I just have to keep my eyes on the prize. I'll keep you updated evey two days or so. April 30, 2012.

Architect Your Life
- VISION IS KEY! Creating a vision would serve as a blueprint for your future . It's hard to move forward confidently without having a good idea of where you're going . Powerful motivator Zig Ziglar says : " If you aim for nothing , you'll hit the mark every time". So create a blueprint for your future, it would make you focused and motivated.
- Create your structure. An interesting fact of architects is that they build structure and order. By creating order they remain focused but if everything is scattered around, they won't stay focused and create chaos ! A well-ordered life is one that exploits your abilities , personality , dreams and passions.
Your the leader of your own ship and architect. As an architect, you create beauty from chaos and see the best in situations whether good or bad. It's your blueprint of the future that inspires hope in the face of adversity and order during disarray. It's your insights that are relied upon to ensure the safety and progress of your journey. The personal takeaway is that as the architect of your life , you have substantial power. And as Ben Parker in Spiderman says : "With great power comes great responsibility". Don't rely on past excuses for your lack of achievement. You already have the power but the question is are you ready ?
- Never SAY never ! How often do you hear people say I can't ? There's no such thing called I can't. You can! Not if you face two or three hurdles then it means this is thorny ! Part of the progress is facing those hurdles, learning from them and improving. Thus , scratch
I can'tfrom your mind and believe me YOU CAN !
